Jungle Décor in the Children’s Library
Jungle decor in the Children’s Library

When children enter the Children’s Library they are transported to another world, to a magical jungle or rainforest where the animals dwell, like this eight-foot tall giraffe, nibbling tender leaves from a tree. The Children’s Library was designed by Touché Designs of Springfield.

The department features a rainforest mural by artist Mike Middleton, finger-painted end panels in the picture book section by Touché artist Pam Atkinson and a “tiki hut” information desk where children can ask a question of the friendly children’s librarians. Be sure to check out the door to the Story Hour Room.
