Follow the cloud-covered walkway from the Atrium and you will be led to the Local History and Genealogy Department, a spacious place in which to conduct research.

The Department specializes in the culture, arts and history of the Missouri Ozarks, Greene County and Springfield, Missouri. People are also drawn from across the country to use the vast collection of genealogical materials to research their family trees.
