Pairing simplified yoga poses with alphabetized animals and objects, ABC Yoga by Christiane Engel features colorful illustrations of children and animals practicing yoga along with playful rhymes to explain each movement. More

REP Pajama ST

 It's a Pajama Storytime at the Republic Branch Library! Wear your pajamas and cuddle up with a stuffed animal on Monday, December 12th at 7 p.m. as infants to age 6 listen to stories and sing songs perfect for bedtime. More

SR Name Song

 Make up a song with your child's name in it. She will love that you are singing a song about her! More

LB Repetition

 Read books over and over when children request it. Young children love repetition! More

1910 Annexation

 The proposed expansion of the Springfield city limits sparked controversy in 1909. Some thought the new boundaries favored only the affluent, while doing nothing to help those who were not. After some revision a smaller city limit was passed by the voters. More

Visionary filmmaker Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901. Throughout his career and beyond, the Walt Disney Company has created some of the most beloved animated films of all time. To celebrate, why not check out some of the Library's materials on Disney animation? More

WLD StoryWalk

 Take a StoryWalk®! The Library has partnered with Ozark Greenways to provide a StoryWalk® at the Willard Trailhead of the Frisco Highline Trail for children birth to 6 to enjoy while they walk. "All You Need for a Snowman" by Alice Schertle will kickoff Tuesday, December 6th at 10 a.m. and will be up for a week.
