April marks the beginning of one of the busiest periods at the Library, when we offer a full schedule of programs for all ages during the Big Read all month, Money Smart Week April 21-28, and begin gearing up for the jam-packed summer reading programs for kids, teens and adults. It’s non-stop between now and fall, and we hope you’ll join us.

We promised a Big Read this year, and it’s big. The Library has a film, lecture, author visit, game night, book discussion or something fun planned for kids, teens or adults on 24 of the 30 days in April.

Not since the Harry Potter and Twilight series has there been so much stir about a book-to-movie phenomenon as we’re seeing now with "The Hunger Games." So count on the Library to jump on board as we near the movie’s March 23 release.
