Summer Reading is coming to an end!
The end of the Teen Summer Reading Program is almost here. All summer long you have been posting great reviews and logging over 86,000 hours of reading-congrats! You have until Saturday, August 7 to log your hours and pick up your Food and Fun Flip Card, Fine Waiver Card, and Library Loot. After Saturday, those prizes will disappear and you won't be able to pick them up. Remember you can pick up your prizes at any branch of the Springfield-Greene County Library or the Bookmobile. If you've won a random prize drawing, you'll still have a chance to pick that up-we'll hold onto those until September 30.
To celebrate the end of the Summer Reading Program there will be a Teen Night After Hours at The Library Center Auditorium Friday August 6 from 9:00-10:30pm. We'll be watching Pirates of the Caribbean, playing live action Battleship, and making pirate treasure boxes. Stop by earlier in the evening, from 7:00-9:00 and see the Teen Gallery Art Competition entries on display in the Auditorium.
Enjoy the end of summer!
