Disney Offers Genealogy Show For Kids
DisZine, a magazine for Disney fans, announced a new Disney Channel series called "My Family Tree." The televison show will "showcase kids from around the country engagingly reporting on their interesting families and roots."
A film crew was in Marblehead, Massachussetts a few weeks ago filming a segment of "My Family Tree" which is slated to begin airing in November. The show focuses on Noah Gerry and his ancestor Elbridge Gerry, who was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and later vice president of the United States.
