Anita Roberts "Springfield: 1830-1930" Book Signing February 19 at Library Center
Anita Roberts will sell and sign copies of her book “Springfield: 1830-1930” from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
Part of the Images of America Series, “Springfield: 1839-1930” provides a photographic journey through the history of early Springfield, Mo., complete with carefully researched information about the state’s third-largest city.
Roberts spent month’s digging through albums and scrapbooks in basements and attics in the homes of citizens throughout Springfield compiling this unique collection.
