Tracy Jackson "Ignorance Ain't Got No Shame" Book Signing February 19 at Library Center

Tracy Lenore Jackson will sell and sign copies of her book “Ignorance Ain’t Got No Shame” from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Tracy Lenore Jackson shares her story of growing up in a predominately African American community in Kansas City, to encourage, inspire and bring awareness to some of life's difficult issues faced by many.

As Tracy grew older, she secretly struggled with some of her emotions, especially those that were conflicting. They confused her about what childhood lessons she should take into adulthood, and what to do with those that haunted her. This becomes her biggest challenge in life. It was Tracy’s desire to understand what her grandmother meant when she oftentimes would say "Ignorance Ain't Got No Shame.” And so her journey began, as a writer and as a woman.
