Online Resource -- Gale Directory Library

The Library has just purchased Gale Directory Library*, an online version of the Encyclopedia of Associations published by Gale/Cengage Learning.

You can currently access the 2011 (50th ed.) of the encyclopedia covering the national organizations of the United States and the 2011 (23rd ed.) of the encyclopedia covering the regional, state and local organizations.

Unlike the print editions, the Gale Directory Library is searchable by keyword as well as entity name. You can download and print organization information or export to email in spreadsheet format.

Available along the way are a robust Help* section and Tips. If you have a few minutes to wait for it to load, there is also a step-by-step Guided Tour.
