R.O.A.D. to Success

Are you the first in your family to attend college? Are you an adult that is attending college for the first time? Do you need to make a career change that requires a college education? You need to plan to attend "R.O.A.D. to Success" on August 9 and August 16.

"R.O.A.D. (Removing Obstacles Achieving Dreams) to Success" is a collaborative program sponsored by OACAC. Various community agencies will be presenting seminars and workshops that cover basic skills (literacy, ESL, computer applications, etc.), disabilities, cultural differences, stress management, career planning, financial aid and much more.

As part of the program, the Springfield-Greene County Library will be presenting a seminar entitled "Using the Public Library as a Resource" on August 16. This program will highlight library resources that can aid in study skills, research, note taking and more.

"R.O.A.D. to Success" will be held from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on August 9 and August 16 at the OACAC Greene County Center. For more information or to register, call 417-447-0554.  Income guidelines apply and childcare is not provided.
