Visit with Zombie Expert and Author Ross Payton Oct. 26 at Library Center
Just in time for Halloween, self-proclaimed zombie expert Ross Payton will talk about his new book, “Zombies of the World,” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the auditorium at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave. Copies of the book and posters featuring zombies of the world will be available for purchase.
Described as a field guide to the undead with 60 full-color illustrations, “Zombies of the World,” describes the various zombie species in full detail with notes on their range, habits and weaknesses. Other books may explain how to kill the undead, but “Zombies of the World” reveals the undead to be a valuable part of our ecosystem and the key to new discoveries in medicine and technology. Visit www.zombiesoftheworld.com for more information.
A writer and podcaster, Ross Payton’s first two books, “Curriculum of Conspiracy” and “Road Trip,” are tabletop role playing game campaigns that satirize fantasy and horror clichés. He has directed a horror comedy movie, “Motor Home From Hell,” and hosts a tabletop gaming and pop culture podcast, “Role Playing Public Radio.”
