Pride and Prejudice

The popularity of Jane Austen continues years and years after her death. Now there are several sequels, prequels or titles based on many of her works, but most especially "Pride and Prejudice" and its characters.  

So if you need a little bit more of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy and their family, here are a few titles to get your started.  

 

 "Independence of Miss Mary Bennet"

 Jane and Elizabeth's younger, bookish sister Mary is still too willful to be confined in a traditional marriage, so she embarks on an adventure of her own.

 

 

 "Austenland" by Shannon Hale

Jane Hayes inherits a trip to Pembrook Park, a resort where guests live like the characters in a Jane Austen novel.  Jane, who has a crush on the Colin Firth version of Mr. Darcy, learns more about what that means while on her vacation.

 

  Through the honeymoon and then the challenges of Elizabeth assuming the role of Mistress of Pemberley, the Fitzwilliams' passion and love for each other grows. To Lizzy's delight, Darcy's sister, Georgiana, returns home just as Christmas preparations are underway, but all is not calm--the marquis of Orman, whom Elizabeth first encounters at the Twelfth Night Ball, has sinister intentions.
"Mr. and Mrs. Fitzwilliam Darcy: Two Shall Become One" by Sharon Lathan

A mysterious plague has fallen upon the quiet English village of Meryton, and the dead are returning to life! Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is determined to wipe out the zombie menace, but she's soon distracted by the arrival of the haughty and arrogant Mr. Darcy.

Following the birth of their first child, Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam Darcy are looking forward to enjoying life at Pemberley, but family commitments draw them away to Mansfield Park. While there, the Darcys get involved with marriage arrangements, star-crossed lovers, deceit, mistaken identity and even murder.
 
 "Darcy & Elizabeth: Nights and Days at Pemberley" by Linda Berdoll
 
A continuation of the lives of the characters from the Jane Austen novel "Pride and Prejudice," Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy, their marriage, the birth of their children, and life on the Pemberley estate.
