Findlaw - The world's leading provider of online legal information.

Cornell Law School Legal Information Institute (LII) - A not-for-profit organization that believes everyone should be able to read and understand the laws that govern them, without cost.

American Bar Association (ABA) - Provides law school accreditation, continuing legal education, information about the law, programs to assist lawyers and judges in their work, and initiatives to improve the legal system for the public.

Gale Legal Forms - Accessible with your library card, this database provides free access to various types of downloadable legal forms. Searchable by keyword, title or category, the database is easy to navigate. Most forms are available in Word format, so they can easily be filled-in, saved and printed. Gale also provides samples of completed forms.

Nolo - Leading publisher of self-help law books on a wide variety of legal topics.

Catalaw - It is the catalog of catalogs of worldwide law on the Internet.

Law.com - Connects legal professionals to more than 20 award-winning national and regional legal publications online and delivers top legal news.

US Law - A leading online provider of legal information since 1999, catering to consumers of online legal information with particular emphasis on individuals and small businesses.

Findlaw Cases & Codes - Contains resources and links for both state and federal laws, including resources pertaining to constitutions, statutes, cases and more.

 

Federal
GPOFDsys.gov - Previously GPO Access, this site provides free online access to official Federal Government publications.

Federal Bureau of Prisons - Federal prisoner lookup.

FedWorld - A gateway to government information that is managed by the National Technical Information Service (NTIS) as part of it's information management mandate.

US Supreme Court - Get a brief overview, meet the Justices, review opinions and search the docket.

US Courts - Provides information from and about the Judicial Branch of the U.S. Government.

US Code - The Office of the Law Revision Counsel prepares and publishes the United States Code, which is a consolidation and codification by subject matter of the general and permanent laws of the United States. Print edition is available for public at Missouri State University’s Meyer Library.

US Code - Cornell Law School Legal Information Institute’s version of the U.S. Code is generated from the most recent official version made available by the US House of Representatives.

Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) - The codification of the general and permanent rules published in the Federal Register by the executive departments and agencies of the Federal Government.

Missouri Revised Statutes - Search or view all the state laws. The state laws are only updated online.
