The Library Center and Schweitzer Brentwood branch libraries will not have phone service Monday, May 29-Tuesday, May 30, due to maintenance. Please call (417) 865-1340 for assistance.

13th Annual Design-A-Bookmark Contest Begins Feb. 1

Children and teens in grades K-12 are invited to enter the Library’s 13th Annual Design-A-Bookmark Contest Feb. 1-March 15. Entry forms will be available from any Library branch or the Mobile Library beginning Feb. 1. Forms may also be downloaded from TeenThing and KidSpace at thelibrary.org.

First-place winning entries and runners-up will be selected in six categories: grades K-2, 3-4, 5-6, 6-8, 9-10 and 11-12. Winning designs will be printed on full-color bookmarks and distributed at events throughout the year and featured on the Library’s website.
