Library Patrons Can Enter Drawing for "The Color Purple" Performance Tickets

Visitors to any of the 10 Springfield-Greene County Libraries and the Mobile Library can enter a drawing for tickets to the opening-night performance of “The Color Purple” on Friday, March 30, at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts.

“The Color Purple,” performed by a national Broadway tour, is a new musical based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Alice Walker. The musical is scheduled for three performances March 30-31. It is recommended for mature audiences.

Entry forms are at each checkout desk. One entry per visit, please, from March 2-23. One pair of tickets will be selected from each library branch and the Mobile Library. Winners will be contacted on March 26. Tickets are provided courtesy of Hammons Hall.
