A new book club for adults will discuss provocative fiction, nonfiction and memoir during its monthly meetings at the Mudlounge, 321 E. Walnut St. This discussion group is sponsored by the Springfield-Greene County Library District and hosted by staffers from the Park Central Branch Library,

The group will meet at 7 p.m. to discuss the following titles on these dates:

• June 28: “Just Kids” by Patti Smith
• July 26: “A Visit From the Goon Squad” by Jennifer Egan
• August 23: “Sex at Dawn: How We Mate, Why We Stray, and What It Means for Modern Relationships” by Christopher Ryan
