Homework Help from the Library

Need homework help you can rely on? The Library has a wide range of resources to help all ages of students with their research for daily assignments or long-term projects.

Databases

Library databases are well suited for homework assignments, because they are collections of information organized to make your research easier and the information they contain has already been reviewed for accuracy. Read the Enoch Pratt Free Library's article about databases to learn more about why to use the Library databases instead of just searching the web.

The Library offers several databases that can be accessed from any Internet accessible computer with a valid Springfield-Greene County Library card.

Library Programs

The Library offers several programs that have educational value for students.  Storytimes are regularly offered for children at all library branches, in addition to programs concerning science, history, literature, art and culture. View the Library's program schedule online or pick up a print copy, "Bookends," at your nearest branch.  All Library programs are free; however some programs do require registration.
