We’re in full holiday mode at the library district, and you’re invited to join us for some live, seasonal music, holiday crafts and shopping.
Looking for the perfect gift for book lovers? We have dozens of unique items at the Between Friends Gift Shops at the Library Center and Library Station: Bobbleheads of Poe, Twain, Lincoln and others, plus journals, book lights, book ornaments and T-shirts, iPad cases, tote bags, quiz deck cards, stationery, children’s book-themed puzzles and like-new used books.
We also have holiday-themed gifts: primitive ornaments and home décor, stocking stuffers, garlands, kitchen utensils and tote bags. We showcase Missouri artists with original photography and paintings, fiber art scarves and gloves and jewelry. Children’s gifts include stuffed animals, Topsy-turvy dolls, card games and brain teasers.
Don’t forget your gifts give twice – proceeds benefit the libraries. Gift shop hours at the Library Center are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday; 1-4:30 p.m. Sunday, or Library Station, 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Prefer to shop online? Visit betweenfriendsgiftshops.org.
