Geezer Returns for Spring Concert May 18 at Library Center

Geezer, our favorite classic rock cover band, is returning for a free, patio concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

Music lovers of all ages are invited to kick off the summer – and our Summer  Reading Program – with the Geezerfest Spring Fling Concert.  at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, on the Library Center patio, 4653 S. Campbell Ave. There’s even space to dance if the spirit moves you.

Geezer, which band members define as “Not Young, Not Old, Somewhere In Between,” plays a mix of classic rock with a major emphasis on blended harmonies. It’s anchored by lead guitarist Mark Ellman and guitarist and vocalist Richard Struckhoff.

They will lead the band through a mix of covered artists that includes The Eagles, Journey, Grand Funk, The Hollies, The Beatles, Jackson Browne, Steely Dan, America, Billy Joel, Orleans and some toe-tappin' country as well.  Jana Henderson adds her amazing vocals to cover songs from artists like Norah Jones, Etta James, Aretha Franklin, and Bonnie Raitt.

Arrive early to get a good seat, or bring your lawn chair! Grab a snack or a drink at the Mudhouse just inside the Library Center, too.
