Mike Stroder “Pulled Brain Muscle” Book Signing Aug. 24 at Library Center

Engineer-turned-author Mike Stroder will sell and sign copies of his first book, “Pulled Brain Muscle: Absurd Essays to Ease the Pain in Your Brain,” from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

This collection of humorous essays is designed to stretch the brain and empty it of stress, thus helping to prevent “pulled brain muscles.” Take a pleasant yet absurd trip with the author as he explores lawn care with explosives, world domination, unique product ideas, office furniture racing, the world’s first combined museum/quick oil change shop and many other concepts, enhanced with an occasional Excel chart, because that’s what engineers do.
