Joyce Wold’s “Grayson Gorilla Learns to Grin” Book Signing Aug. 21 at Library Center

Huntley, Ill., author Joyce Wold will sell and sign copies of her book, “Grayson Gorilla Learns to Grin,” from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.

In a lush, green rainforest far away lived a gargantuan gorilla named Grayson. He’s a grumpy-looking gorilla who is sad because the creatures of the rainforest run away from him. He wants to make friends, but it’s so hard. What can he do? See what happens when Grayson follows the simple advice given by a jungle creature and finds that it’s easy to make friends.

Wold will also have copies available of her first book, “God’s Creations.” Its tongue-twisting alliteration will challenge and engage children as they learn that they are the best of God’s creations.
