Help Available at Library Center for Health Insurance Plan Shoppers
Do you or someone you know need help signing up for a plan in the new Federal Health Insurance Marketplace? Help is available three days a week from a certified helper, or navigator, at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
Dori Meyer from Primaris Healthcare Business Solutions is federally certified to answer questions, help adults compare plans or sign them up for a plan that’s right for them.
She is available from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in the Grisham Room of the Library Center. For now, the help is available on a walk-in basis; no reservations necessary.
Additionally, sign-up assistance is available from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Health Library at the Jordan Valley Community Health Center, 440 E. Tampa St.
Primaris was one of the two recipients of a statewide grant from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to help individuals sign up for insurance through the Marketplace. Meyer will serve as Primaris’ navigator for southwest Missouri.
