Last of Hall Family Leaves Frisco Work
After more than 50 years with the Frisco Railroad, Edward D. Hall, 66, of 1316 North Grant, has retired, marking the first time in 86 years a member of his family is not working for the Frisco.
Hall had worked for the rail line 51 years, and had been a machinist since the end of World War 1.  His father and four brothers all worked with the Frisco and the members of the family worked a combined total of 185 years with the company.
Hall’s retirement was effective July 31.

You can begin your search for your family on our Frisco website.  Search the employee cards (1950's and 1960's) and employee magazines (1902 to 1935, many issues missing).  Keep in mind that the cards and the magazines only cover some years.  Many of the earlier employee records have not been found and may have been destroyed.  All of the employee cards we have are digitized on line.  You can read how this collection came about at the Frisco, About this site section.
