Earl Grunden “The Quest” Book Signing Jan. 18 at Library Center
Author Earl Grunden will sell and sign copies of his first book, “The Quest,” from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
"The Quest" is about the life of a man named Dean Emmanuel Strauss. In his quest to become the most important and powerful man in the world, Dean accepts as his own, the worldwide belief that everyone has their own truth. He becomes an extremely secular Atheist, who looks condescendingly down on everyone who believes in God. Dean continually refers to Christians as 'those deluded souls.' He acquires vast amounts of wealth and possessions, but due to a shaky economy, he eventually loses his job, his wife, his wealth, his influence and his friends. After losing everything, Dean, like Pontius Pilate, asks, “What is truth?”
