It was 50 Years Ago Today...

It was 50 years ago today (February 9, 1964) that the Beatles came to America. They had televised performances on the Ed Sullivan show and gained more popularity in America. The visit had a great impact on popular culture and music that continues to this day.

The library has a wide variety of music in different formats for your listening pleasure. No matter if your listening preference is the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, or any number of other British bands, we have a variety of CDs for you to checkout. Or if your preference is country, jazz or blues or many of the other styles, we have something for you. The lending period is 7 days for CDs in our collection.

If you prefer streaming for your listening, try Hoopla, our online music source.

If you like to see concerts or documentaries on music, the library also has a variety of those as well.
