If you head to a bookstore, odds are the travel guides you want will end up costing you a lot! Plus, think about it: will you use those purchased guides over and over again after the trip? Probably not, so why not save money by checking out the travel guides at your nearest Library?

We have travel guides for every corner of the world, spanning from the Grand Canyon to Italy. These books will tell you--and show you with excellent photographs!--the best places to visit while on your trip, from museums to churches to restaurants and more.

Need some help with budgeting for your trip? The Library also has books that will guide you through the process of saving money.

Needless to say, we can help you plan your trip, beginning with the idea all the way to getting to your travel destination. You may also apply for a passport at either the Library Center or the Library Station.

A group of travelers who met in a Brooklyn hostel in 2009 decided to use their experiences to create an online travel magazine. Eventually this inspired a major publication called 'Off Track Planet,' which has been published and distributed around the world. This guidebook is a sampling of the ideas the travel group suggests and some of the off-beat ways to vacation with any sort of interest, and on any sort of budget.
