Magazine Titles Added to Zinio; Toilets are Focus of Next DIY with a Purpose; LibraryCon Aug. 27 at Library Center

Many of us have discovered the convenience of reading magazines online with our library cards and Zinio. That’s the library service that provides more than 120 popular, current magazines and back issues.

Since the Library introduced it in 2015, Zinio has added many more magazines to the collection, including new ones for children and teens.

Here’s a sample of the new additions you can read online: Animal Tales,
Barbie Magazine, Girl's World, Hemmings Motor News, In Touch, J-14 Magazine,
American Patchwork & Quilting, Birds & Blooms, Cooking with Paula Deen, Country Gardener, Diabetic Living, Digital Photo, Hello!, Interweave Crochet, and Civil War Times.

New to Zinio? With just a library card, you can read the magazines on a PC, Mac or mobile device. There are no holds, no checkout periods and no limits on the number of magazines you can download.

Just go to thelibrary.org/digital and scroll down and click on Zinio for Libraries. From there you can browse the collection, set up the free, personal account with your library card number, a login and a password you choose. Learn about the extra features on the Zinio site.

It’s a perfect solution to save money and read your favorite magazines where and when you desire.
