A newly discoverd dinosaur smuggled out of Mongolia has many of the same features of the familiar 40 foot tall  5 ton T-Rex; however at about 9 ft tall and 180 lbs Raptorex Kriesteini is a sort of T-Rex MINI-Me.

A third medium sized tyrannosaur recently emerged from a fossil site in Mongolia's Gobi DesertAlioramus altai at 13 feet and 810 lbs.  These new dinosaurs suggest that many more smaller versions of both giant carnivorous and herbivorous dinosaurs remain to be discovered.
