Water Tower on Glenstone

"Like a gigantic flower unfolding, these steel petals reach out to embrace the burden that will be entrusted to them. The picture shows the sturdy supports erected for the 1,500,000 gallon storage tank being built for the Springfield City Water Co. at Glensone and Monroe Terrace. Note the telephone pole, only half as high."
