Glee: The Booklist
I am addicted to the show Glee and I'm so glad it's back on! (Anyone else addicted?) If you love the show, check out some of these Glee read-alikes:
-Carter Finally Gets It by Brent Crawford-The humor is exactly what Glee fans are looking for. Try this one on audio-hilarious!
-No More Dead Dogs by Gordon Korman-This is my go-to book for Glee read-alikes. Somehow the book just reminds me of the show-a jock who ends up in the theater department, the drama queen, and a teacher who wants to make a difference. Such a great read-and I agree, no more dead dogs!!
-My Most Excellent Year: A Novel of love, Mary Poppins and Fenway Park by Steve Kluger-This book really does have everything, and there are some great Glee-ish moments with the characters.
-Dramarama by E. Lockhart-Live and breathe the theater? Chances are you'll relate to the theater camp experience.
-Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johnson-Theater, romance, an eccentric actress, and an old hotel add up to lots of fun.
-Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev-Not the most Glee-like book on the list, but readers who enjoy high theater will love this fantasy set behind the scenes.
-Drama! Series by Paul Ruditis-Set in a superposh high school's drama club, there's drama, gossip, and romance, and more drama.
