Republic Teen Talks Booklist

During April the Republic Branch Library had Teen Talks every Thursday afternoon and we talked about a lot of books.  If you are in a reading slump here is a list of what we have been reading lately:

The Airhead Series by Meg Cabot.  If you have read the first two books in the series Airhead and Being Nikki be sure to place your hold on the third book Runaway.

The Pendragon Series by D.J. MacHale.  There are ten books in this series plus a few spin offs so if you are looking for a long storyline to follow this is the one for you. Also if you are a fan of this author he has a new series out, Morpheus Road.

The Gallagher girls series by Ally Carter.  Be on the look out for the fourth book in this series Only the Good Spy Young, it releases on June 29.

Witch & Wizard by James Patterson is one of our favorite quick reads right now.

Also check out his new non-fiction book  Med Head: my knock-down, drag-out, drugged-up battle with my brain for a look into a young man's head as he deals with growing up with Tourette Syndrome, OCD, and high anxiety.

The Forest of Hands & Teeth and The Dead-tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan are passing from hand to hand here at Republic. I mean who doesn't love a good post-apocalyptic zombie book with main characters struggling to find their way in the world?

Move over Vladimir Tod! There is a new vampire on the Truman award lists this year, Morning McCobb. Brian Meehl's Suck it Up is a humerous book that will leave you wanting to read more.

Violet has the psychic ability to sense murders and their victims.  When a serial killer starts leaving a trail of bodies around her town she must use her ability to stop them before she becomes a victim herself in The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting.

What is on the other side of the line? Did anyone survive the bomb or is all that is left mutated beings?  Find out in the sci-fi novel The Line by Terri Hall.
