Springfield Area Job Resources

As one begins a new job search, he or she often looks for every available and valuable resource possible. Fortunately, there are many resources available in the Springfield area.

One might consider contacting The Center for Workforce Development at Ozark Technical Community College. They have available resources to enhance job training in various industries, enrichment courses, CDL driver's training and more. Sign up to receive the CWD newsletter to stay tuned in with the job market.

Another valuable resource is the Missouri Career Center. There, one can receive career counseling, training in job search strategies, computer skills and more. In addition, it's a great resource to search available jobs.

Through the Library, one can access Job and Career Accelerator* and Learning Express Library* to search for jobs, study for specific employment tests, and improve skills needed to succeed in today's job market.
