Many genealogists tend to be collectors and thus accumulate file cabinets filled with thousand of pages of information. One of the most important and sometimes difficult aspects of genealogy is organization. All of the programs import and export gedcom files, so it should be easy to switch to another program if your current software lacks features and you decide to upgrade.
