Promotes the investigation, preservation and interpretation of prehistoric and historic remains in Missouri. Open meetings followed by free archaeology-themed presentations are held at 7 p.m. the first Wednesday of the months September through May at the Center for Archaeological Research, 622 S. Kimbrough Ave., northeast entrance (double doors). Professionals, students, avocationalists, and enthusiasts are all welcome.
