Where can I find information
about grants for individuals?
There are a few places that have information concerning grants for individuals:
- In the Funding Information Center there is access to the Foundation Center's Foundation Grants to Individuals Online database. To use this database you will need your valid Springfield-Greene County Library card or a current ID and $1 to purchase a computer day pass. Foundation Grants to Individuals Online lists opportunities for individuals, primarily including scholarships, fellowships,
and grants.
- The database is also available in print form and is located in the
Funding Information Center Reference Collection at call number R 001.44
F.
- There are a couple of Federal Government websites that list grant opportunities
for individuals. The first is Grants.gov at
http://www.grants.gov. The other is Gov
Benefits, at http://www.govbenefits.gov.
