Jamie Lee Curtis

Jamie Lee Curtis has written a number of critically-acclaimed children's books, all illustrated by Laura Cornell. On her web site, Curtis says of her writing, "I think one thing a great children's book does is start a dialogue between children and parents. When you finish reading a good book with your child, that's when the dialogue begins. I hope my books stimulate parents to talk to children about the issues the books bring up."

"I think the number one reason that I write good children's books is that I connect in a very clear way with what it feels like to be a child - the good and the bad - and that's why it's important to me to keep writing."
