Erin Hunter

Erin Hunter is actually four people! She is experienced children's authors Kate Cary, Cherith Baldry, Victoria Holmes and Tui Sutherland. Vicky comes up with the story ideas and makes sure the books stay consistent, and Kate, Cherith and Tui take turns writing the books. They came up with the single name, Erin Hunter, to avoid confusing their readers by having books from the same series filed in different places on the bookshelves.

Erin's popular Warriors series has kept readers coming back with tales of territories, clans and cats. The more recent Survivors series promises more of the same, except that dogs take the lead. In the recently released Book 4, The Broken Path, Lucky and Alpha have finally reached an uneasy peace, but tensions are still high -- and Alpha has made it clear that there are some dogs he will never fully accept.
