Tom Angelberger

Tom Angleberger, author of the popular Origami Yoda series, was born and still lives in Virginia. He began his first novel in 8th grade, and never completed it. Before becoming an author and illustrator he was a biology research assistant, a lawn mower part assembler, and a newspaper reporter and columnist. He can also juggle!

The fourth novel in the Origami Yoda series, due to be published in August, 2013, is "The Suprise Attack of Jabba the Puppet". In the book, dark times have fallen on McQuarrie Middle School. When Principal Rabbski cancels art, music, and other elective classes to make time for a new program called FunTime, which is intended to raise standardized test scores, the students form a Rebel Alliance with the help of Origami Yoda.

You'll find his new book at the Library, soon, but in the meantime get acquainted (or reacquainted) with his other books!
