CAPT. JOHN HALSTEAD. Everybody in the western part of Greene county knows Capt. John Halstead, real estate agent and general manager of the Brookline Inn and feed barn. He has long been a resident of this locality, whose interests he has had at heart and sought to promote, and as a booster for his town and township he has done as much as any other man and is deserving of the high esteem in which he is universally held.
