CENSUS

Microfilm of Missouri population schedule 1830-1930. Finding aids available.
 

GENEALOGY

Missouri (especially Greene County and southwest Missouri) records transcribed or microfilmed for genealogical research: birth, death, funeral homes, marriage, land and probate, transcriptions of cemeteries and tombstone. Family histories, immigration indexes, indexes to military records.

OZARKS GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY
Part of the collection is housed at the Library Center; the remainder at the Ozarks Genealogical Society Library, 534 West Catalpa Street. Collections emphasize states from which most early Missourians migrated during the westward expansion--Virginia, the Carolinas, Kentucky and Tennessee.
