A nurse engaged in reconstructive surgery. A Springfield News-Leader article dated December 31, 1999, page M8, used this photo, giving
the following description: "A nurse at O'Reilly Hospital
tends to a soldier whose chin was destroyed in combat. It was replaced
using a pedicle graft -- a piece of new tissue grown on another
part of the body and painstakingly moved to the face." August
