Information Please

I would like to contact any of the descendants of WILLIAM JOHNSON who was born about 1837 in White County, Tennessee. The 1850 U. S. Census listed his age as 13. The section of White County in which he was born is now part of Putnam County, Tennessee. He was the son of Joseph Johnson and Mary "Folly Pop" HARGIS. About 1858 William Johnson settled on the White River in Missouri, and he fought with the Union Army during the Civil War. I have no record of him after that except that my grandfather, Wash J. Johnson, visited him around 1870. Three of William Johnson's brothers fought with the Confederate Army. Samuel Johnson was a captain and lived until about 1901. John and Solomon were killed during the war. He had one sister, Elizabeth, who married Robert L. MILLIGAN. Perhaps some of the descendants will have heard of these names.
