Ellison Antiques |
Among the items willed to the Society by James H. (Jim) Ellison is a lady's trunk dating from the latter part of the nineteenth century. Lined in beige, small figured paper bordered in blue, the trunk lid has a fashion plate from Godey's Lady's Book. The date of the illustration is not yet known, but from the gowns pictured seems to be of the 1870's. |

Below is the keystone from a large fireplace. In addition to the clearly-carved date, there is a faint design of a bird and what appears to be the trunk of a tree. |
