Richard Johnson was at one time a salesman for the Stetson Company and he traveled all through this section of the country in a rig, selling hats and gloves. He was married to Edith Rountree of Springfield, Missouri.
Uncle Dick loved the Rockaway Beach community and made it his home for many, many years, spend ing most of his remaining years with Capt. Bill and Betty Roberts.
