Baker Cemetery

Baker Cemetery, located in Ozark Coun ty, on Little North Fork Creek, about two miles N.W. of Isabelle, Mo., on Isabelle Hammond Road. This cemetery is overgrown with timber. The stones include:

J. C. Baker b Dec. 23, 1865-d 1916.

Mother, wife of Jno. C; Rachel Rebecca Baker b Aug. 11, 1871-d May 11, 1936.

Levi Barnett, enlisted Oct. 18, 1861 5th Reg. Phelps Mo. Vols. lnf. discharged May 12, 1862-d Sept. 22, 1880 at age 78 years, 1 month, 18 days. Matilda Forrest b Oct. 1, 1847-d Dec. 8, 1875 (the above two on same stone).

Margaret Turley wife of B. F. Turley b Aug. 8, 1836-d Oct. 15, 1879.

B. son of Margaret and Wm. Holt born and died Oct. 29, 1877.

Martha, daughter of M. and Wm. Holt b Dec. 10, 1882-d Oct. 31, 1884.

Harriet Pippin 1896-1912, Hazel Pippin 1892-1912, (the above two on same stone).

George son of B. F. and M. E. Haskins, born and died Dec. 26, 1887.

Mary E. daughter of B. F. and M. E. Haskins b Aug. 25, 1881-d Feb. 13, 1891.

Mary A. wife of J. B. Haskins b Mar. 16, 1836-d Aug. 1, 1884.

F. B. Haskins, Co. H M. 46 Mo. Inf., (a masonic emblem), b March 6, 1829-d Dec. 29, 1909.

Beulah Fern Haskins b Sept. 19, 1922-d Feb. 1928.

There are about twenty-five field stone markers.
