"Vowes of Country Women" by Ellen Gray Massey

Ellen Massey is a resident scholar of the Ozarks—teacher, writer and speaker. She has edited two collections, Bittersweet Earth and Bittersweet Country, published by the University of Oklahoma Press. Her latest book is Equestricat published by Avalon Press. She has been a popular participant in the Missouri Humanities Council American Mirror speakers program. In three years, she has traveled over 31,000 miles in Missouri to present 123 programs. She makes her home in Lebanon.

Society members and guests will arrive shortly after the noon hour to enjoy fellowship and lunch served by buffet or table service in the banquet room. College help is available to carry trays, so come join us for conversation prior to the meeting.
