"The Ozarks Mountaineer" by Barbara Wehrman
Barbara Wehrman is publisher of the Ozarks Mountaineer, a bi-monthly magazine which has been chronicling the Ozarks for 43 years. Barbara will discuss many aspects of publishing this historic magazine, including its beginning and evolution, the editorial philosophy of the magazine, the articles and their writers, photographs, and much more. The magazine has a current circulation of 33,000.
Society members and guests will arrive shortly after the noon hour to enjoy fellowship and lunch served by buffet or table service in the banquet room. College help is available to carry trays, so come join us for conversation prior to the meeting.
