OLD LINDEN CEMETERY

Located southwest of Linden (Kenton), Missouri. Turn off Highway 125 at Linden, and go past the store building to the road to the right. The road is marked "Keep Out." Follow it up the hill and to the left. Go between a house called "Linden View" and the barn, and the Cemetery is to the left in the grove of timber. Two tall Cedar trees mark the entrance.

There is a difference in the dates on the above stones, but the separate stones with names and dates are older than the one tall stone with all names and dates.

SUNRISE CEMETERY

Located from Rogersville, Missouri, south on County Road U, to County Road KK. Left on KK to end of Blacktop, about 1.5 miles. Turn left on gravel road and go .6 of a mile. On the left side of the road are two small Cedar trees. Over the fence, and up the gully about half-way; then to the right, over the top of the hill. The Cemetery is fence enclosed but grown up with sprouts. Tradition has it that the first burials here were from smallpox deaths. This is located on the "Old Ballard" place.
