Mrs. Robins Set the Date

Mrs. Ruby Robins, president, announces he Fall Meeting date, set for December 17, at Friendship House, School of the Ozarks, time 1:00 p.m., speaker, Mrs. Orville Ranck. Mr. and Mrs. Ranck came from California to Ozark County, Missouri fourteen years ago. They live at Dawt. There Mr. Ranck guides fishermen.

Mrs. Ranck writes "Dawt Items" for the Ozark County Times and the West Plains Quill. Mrs. Robins says of Rose Ranck: "Her natural style of writing has won her a wide following. She has been the subject of feature stories in the West Plains Quill and the Springfield Daily News. She has addressed the Chamber of Commerce and other groups of the area."

Rose Ranck’s subject for the 17th will be: "Living Off the Ozark Land".

Mrs. Robins invites members and guests who desire to do so to join with others for lunch at Friendship House. There the Smorgasbord dinner starts at 12 o’clock, cost $2.50, including drink and dessert.
