George W. Hendricks was paid $35.00 a month for five months school The last warrent was on January 6, 1899. The next teacher in 1899-1900 was J. Loomis Finney and he taught five months for $25.00 a month.

Henry Calhoun was 6 years old and went his first term to Mr. Finney. Mr. W. N. Calhoun was paid 25ยข for a broom in this school year. This school record to show ages of Calhoun children and others was taken from official register of this Cedar Bluff School District No.2, Twp.24, Range 24, Stone County, Missouri by Ruth Henson Asher (Mrs. Ernest Asher) R.2, Box 66, Galena, Mo. 65656, Secretary of Annual Cedar Bluff School Reunion held 4th Sunday in September. Has been held since 1946. Aud Calhoun was on a committee to start the homecoming. In fact, he was a committee of one and began it with no help.
